THRIVE Sausage Crumbles are a sure crowd-pleaser in hash browns and scrambled eggs. Add these pre-cooked crumbles into cheesy casseroles or your favorite spaghetti sauce for added protein and taste.
Ratio of FD vs. Fresh:
2 1/2 C. FD Sausage Crumbles + 2 C. Water = 1lb. Fresh Sausage
Directions:
To make 1 lb. of sausage, combine 2 ½ cups THRIVE Sausage Crumbles with 2 cups warm water. Let stand for 15-20 minutes. Drain any excess water.

Storage Conditions
Temperature: Storing THRIVE at a high temperature can significantly increase the speed that calories and vitamins will degrade over time. In the correct storage container, low-moisture foods such as THRIVE can be stored at room temperature or cooler (75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower) and remain nutritious and edible for years. Our stated shelf life assumes that the product will be stored in optimal conditions.
Humidity: The effects of humidity on a closed can are caused by heat and very similar to the effects of high temperature (see above). High humidity can corrode the cans and in some cases even cause the cans to leak. Areas with high humidity can reduce the opened shelf life of the product. As humidity varies with location please use your own discretion to prevent possible sickness from eating spoiled food.
Damaged Container: Minor dents in the center of the can are usually just a cosmetic issue. However, a can that has been dented near or on a seam can have a compromised air-tight seal and allow oxygen to enter the can. If this is the case we recommend using the dented can within the specified opened shelf life, rather than closed.
The best way to maintain the highest quality of your THRIVE products is to take care of them. If you intend on storing your food for the sealed shelf life, store the cans in a place that is not open to elements such as water, light, and air. Take care of it. Don't expose it unnecessarily to the elements. Also, be sure to keep the temperature and humidity low and even. Under these proper storing situations your THRIVE will maintain its delicious taste, natural coloring, and proper nutrients.

I love this sausage!!! Great for omelets, sausage and gravy, casseroles, use for pizza all the time. Hard to say what my favorite Thrive product is, there are so many, but this has to be on the list!! Amazing stuff!!

Absolutely love this sausage
I just tried the sausage crumbles on a home made pizza and it was the best pizza I've ever made. There was no way to know that this was freeze dried sausage in fact I think it was better than fresh. If all the meat products are this good we will be eating well during a shortage. Thanks for keeping the quality high.

I just received my first Q order less than 10 days ago, which included a pantry can of these Sausage Crumbles.
These Crumbles are wonderful for a single person who can take their time going through the can. Although, I am already more than half way through the pantry can because I am eating them so much.
I've eaten them straight out of the can, as some other reviewers have mentioned. And I use Local fresh eggs to scramble, adding these Crumbles and some Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese. SIMPLE EASY FUN!
THIS IS TO LIVE FOR!
I'm already updating my Q for October's order, and I will be ordering this by the #10 can from now on. And I plan to turn friends and family on to them, too!

GREAT PRODUCT!
These taste great! I have been adding them to my soups, and they add such a nice flavor. I have also used them with scrambled eggs. Going to try them in spaghetti sauce next. Just have to keep from munching on them straight out of the can! ;o)

Perfect Pantry Item
So many uses! Reconstituted for pizza (even used the FD mozzarella...melted so nicely!), added to eggs, using in stromboli tomorrow! Definitely ordering these on a regular basis on my Q!

So worth it!

MUST HAVE!!!
THESE ARE A MUST in every food storage!!! The first time I used these was with the powdered eggs to make scrambled eggs. We were ALL so excited by how delicious it was! I can't say enough about it! The crumbles are very very small and adds a delicious sausage flavor to any breakfast or casserole dish!

Amazing!
I can't believe that freeze dried sausage would be so versatile and yummy! Absolutely blew my whole family away when I told them the sausage in the breakfast bake was freeze dried. You can't even tell from the texture that it was freeze dried after being reconstituted. The taste isn't like Italian sausage, more like a breakfast sausage but it is still fantastic in spaghetti sauce!

Very Versatile!
These sausage crumbles taste great and go with so many things. I've used them on pizza, in omelets and breakfast casseroles. They are about 1/4 inch in diameter and are great straight from the can too.
