THRIVE® Ice Cream Sandwiches are sure to be a family favorite. This freeze dried dessert tastes just like an ice cream sandwich only it will never melt! It is the perfect treat for sack lunches or picnics. The creamy vanilla ice cream nestled between two rich chocolate wafers will always leave you begging for more.
Freeze dried ice cream is an extremely delicate product. Therefore we cannot guarantee that THRIVE Ice Cream Sandwiches and THRIVE Double Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Bars will arrive completely intact. The ice cream comes individually wrapped in thin paper wrapper that keeps each sandwich or bar together, but there is the possibility of broken pieces.

Wafer (bleached wheat flour, sugar, caramel color, dextrose, palm oil, corn flour, cocoa, high fructose corn syrup, baking soda, modified corn starch, salt, mono and diglycerides, soy lecithan) Ice Cream (milk, cream, sugar, skim milk solids, corn syrup, whey, stabilizer (mono and diglycerides, guar gum, cellulose gum, sodium, alginate and carrageenan) natural and artificial flavor and vegetable annatto color.
Storage Conditions
Temperature: Storing THRIVE at a high temperature can significantly increase the speed that calories and vitamins will degrade over time. In the correct storage container, low-moisture foods such as THRIVE can be stored at room temperature or cooler (75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower) and remain nutritious and edible for years. Our stated shelf life assumes that the product will be stored in optimal conditions.
Humidity: The effects of humidity on a closed can are caused by heat and very similar to the effects of high temperature (see above). High humidity can corrode the cans and in some cases even cause the cans to leak. Areas with high humidity can reduce the opened shelf life of the product. As humidity varies with location please use your own discretion to prevent possible sickness from eating spoiled food.
Damaged Container: Minor dents in the center of the can are usually just a cosmetic issue. However, a can that has been dented near or on a seam can have a compromised air-tight seal and allow oxygen to enter the can. If this is the case we recommend using the dented can within the specified opened shelf life, rather than closed.
The best way to maintain the highest quality of your THRIVE products is to take care of them. If you intend on storing your food for the sealed shelf life, store the cans in a place that is not open to elements such as water, light, and air. Take care of it. Don't expose it unnecessarily to the elements. Also, be sure to keep the temperature and humidity low and even. Under these proper storing situations your THRIVE will maintain its delicious taste, natural coloring, and proper nutrients.

Good but Expensive
I just received my shipment yesterday and dug right in to the ice cream sandwich. It tasted like a couple of crispy chocolate cookies with a dense, creamy middle. Mine was broken but what the heck! I was going to break it when I bit into it anyway.
I found it okay, but the price in the pouch was just astronomically expensive. The price is a better when purchased in the #10 can, but overall, I find it to be too expensive to include in my future purchases.Quality

Yummy!
I don't know why each individual pkg has slits?? but i can say these taste great!! Yes, freeze dried stuff is crumbly, but that's expected... the taste is just like the real thing & each bite melts in your mouth! We <3 LOVE them! Will buy more to store because this opened #10 can will be gone in no time!

Disappointed...
A bit of a novelty but it crumbled too easily. Dry and little taste. Will not buy more, instead will buy more yogurt bites....

I got some to try, and I'm glad I did, but I doubt I will be buying more. They are tasty, but very crumbly. I guess there is some good reason why all the individual packages have slits in them (but then why bother with individual wrappings at all?), but the slits also allow the crumblies to go all over the place.
Fine for camping and the like--if you can keep them intact enough to eat them. Be sure to repack them in a baggie. Not worth the cost per unit (about $2.00+ apiece), imo.Quality TXPurl 6/22/12

very surpised
I had a get together with my friends and brought these to go with our coffee. We were all amazed at how good they are. I was so surprised, I sent some to my moms house for them to try. Lets just say these will be a staple in our house.

I bought a pantry can of these quite a while ago, and they are really, really tasty. Hubby enjoyed them, too. Will put these in my storage as well as keep some pantry sizes for snacking.

Suprisingly Good!
We were amazed at how good these ice cream sandwiches are. They'll be a wonderful treat during tough times...if we can keep from eating them before the next natural disaster. Very happy with this indulgence in our long term storage.

Strangely wonderful!
They look the same as ice cream sandwiches and taste great! The only difference from the one right out of the freezer is a little less creaminess but the taste is ALL there! Kids (10, 11, 12) were a little resistant at first but came back quickly and finished most of the pantry can right away. Husband couldn't resist the rest! I have ordered more #10 cans for storage and the summer camping trip. Thumbs up! Nice to have some no-bake storage dessert options. You guys did it again!

Very good!
My whole family loves these! The ice cream still has the texture of freeze-dried ice cream, but it isn't so noticeable because the cookie portion is just like it is on a regular ice cream sandwich. For us, they were a bit crumbly, but it is so much easier to clean up freeze-dried crumbs than melted ice cream "crumbs". :) I will definitely be buying more of these!

Not astronaut ice cream!
These ice cream sandwiches look the same and taste the same as a regular ice cream sandwich with no brain freeze and no mess! The kids were skeptical at first saying, "Mom, that looks too weird to be good" but came back quickly and asked for more. Conveniently individually wrapped, just like the frozen ones. A nice treat to have on hand for storage and to use everyday. Great for camping or hiking, too.

Tried these at a Thrive party. So amazing. I prefer them to ice cream sandwiches out of the freezer. So Yummy!
