Storage Conditions
Temperature: Storing THRIVE at a high temperature can significantly increase the speed that calories and vitamins will degrade over time. In the correct storage container, low-moisture foods such as THRIVE can be stored at room temperature or cooler (75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower) and remain nutritious and edible for years. Our stated shelf life assumes that the product will be stored in optimal conditions.
Humidity: The effects of humidity on a closed can are caused by heat and very similar to the effects of high temperature (see above). High humidity can corrode the cans and in some cases even cause the cans to leak. Areas with high humidity can reduce the opened shelf life of the product. As humidity varies with location please use your own discretion to prevent possible sickness from eating spoiled food.
Damaged Container: Minor dents in the center of the can are usually just a cosmetic issue. However, a can that has been dented near or on a seam can have a compromised air-tight seal and allow oxygen to enter the can. If this is the case we recommend using the dented can within the specified opened shelf life, rather than closed.
The best way to maintain the highest quality of your THRIVE products is to take care of them. If you intend on storing your food for the sealed shelf life, store the cans in a place that is not open to elements such as water, light, and air. Take care of it. Don't expose it unnecessarily to the elements. Also, be sure to keep the temperature and humidity low and even. Under these proper storing situations your THRIVE will maintain its delicious taste, natural coloring, and proper nutrients.

Fantastic
These are the best dried beans ever. They cook up fast and are real tasty. My son loved them. Yes, get the bucket size ready

An addendum to my earlier review
Not only are these instant beans the most incredible product EVER, but they don't have any of the "unpleasant side effects" of regular beans! My husband and I polished off an entire pot of bean soup last week made with Thrive's instant pinto beans and had no stomach issues at all afterwards. Definitely a first for us!

You have to try these!
I'll never buy ordinary dried beans again. Thrive instant pinto beans are just fabulous! I made homemade bean soup tonight from all-Thrive products in less than 40 minutes, and it turned out thicker, richer and more flavorful than the version I used to simmer all day long. Thank you, Thrive!

Bucket size containers, please :)
We absolutely love the Instant Beans and would really like to see them offered in a bucket size... Please !-?
For those just starting out with FD items I've found a 1 cup product to 2 cups water is a good approximate rule of thumb for most Thrive products. Also, to get all the nutrients, save the extra liquid it to use in a pot of soup :)
To Thrive/Shelf Reliance; We absolutely love the products but find it very frustrating that there are no Basic Re-hydrating Instructions included on ALL the # 10 cans :(Quality

I may never go back...
...to regular dried beans! I admit to turning up my nose at these when I first saw them. We decided to buy a pantry can to give them a try. I added some Goya ham flavoring. We love them!!! Absolutely love them! And so easy and quick! I don't have to tend to a pot of beans for hours now! Delicious with a skillet of corn bread. Now, if only you had turnip greens!!!
One note: I found the ratio of water to beans on the directions to be way too much. The next batch, I'm going to try them with 4 cups of water instead of the six cups.
Otherwise, I plan to order the #10 can of these and then some of the instant black beans and red beans. Now all you need are some Instant Great Northern beans to go with those ham dices you sell!Quality

So glad you've added this great product
I have not wanted to buy regular beans because of the time it takes to cook. If I have an emergency disaster, I won't have time to cook them. I used to buy instant beans but lost my contact. Thanks so much for adding this to your great product list!
