Tips and More

  • Oat groats are oats that have been hulled but not yet rolled. The large whole grains can be used to make porridges or to add texture to breads, soups, or even cold salads.
  • Grind them to make oat flour or chop them to make your own steel-cut oats for adding to breads or making oatmeal.
