Dutch Oven Deep Dish Lasagna

  1. Cook and cool noodles.
  2. In a 14-inch Dutch oven, start sauce by sweating garlic and olive oil together lightly.
  3. Add meats, onions, and mushrooms and stir. Add water, Italian and Chef's Choice blends, basil, and tomato dices and stir. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add tomato sauce mix and return to a simmer, then stir in parmesan cheese.
  5. In a bowl mix cottage cheese with remaining seasonings.
  6. Remove most of sauce from the Dutch oven, leaving ½ inch in the bottom. Layer 7 lasagna noodles over sauce, spread cottage cheese over the noodles, and add more sauce. Repeat two more times and top with mozzarella and 1 ½ tbsp. Salad Seasoning Blend.
  7. Bake for 30–45 minutes with 21 coals around rim of lid and 11 coals underneath oven.
