Cornbread Stuffing

Directions

  1. Bake cornbread according to directions on can. Allow to cool and cut into dices; let dices dry overnight or bake in oven to dry.
  2. Brown bacon, then add garlic and sweat together.
  3. Add butter and sweat until melted. Add all remaining ingredients except cornbread. Bring to a simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Place dried bread in a large bowl. Pour stuffing mixture over bread in small amounts while stirring. Mix until coated.
  5. Bake on a cookie sheet for 12–15 minutes at 350F or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
