These cupcakes are moist and delicious! I made bite-sized versions with chocolate buttercream icing to serve at a party and everyone gobbled them up. They were especially nice to have for my friends who eat a gluten-free diet. Thanks to Chef Todd for this lovely treat!

I demo these cupcakes at cooking classes. Always a big hit. I add powdered fruit to the frosting for an added pop of flavor! I have shared this recipe with several people who are eating gluten free.

It's shocking how moist and delicious these are. No one had any idea they are made with black beans. They melt in your mouth like a truffle. I sprinkled a little of the lemonade crystals on the icing for added color and a little zip. Yummy

Our guests and us all really enjoyed the cupcakes. Since I made them, I could taste the beans in the mix, but I think it was all in my head, because the next day, they tasted exactly like a chocolate cupcake. And even bettter yet, being Gluten-Free, our friend could partake in the cupcakes as well, and not feel left out :)

Kids can't tell there are black beans in the cupcakes. They are moist and easy to make. Next time I make these I'm going to try a raspberry filling.

We have made this recipe a number of times and we just love it. We do substitute stevia sweetener for some of the sugar but that's about the only thing we change. Am looking forward to trying to make these with a peanut butter center.

This was so moist and tasty. I have friends who are gluten free and this is such a wonderful treat I can make for them. You would never know that there was beans in them. Nice to know I can make a cupcake that is actually good for you!

I like to call these chocolate dream cupcakes! They are amazing! I like that there are black beans in them, making them healthier than a regular chocolate cupcake, and they are gluten free as well. They are a little more heavy than a regular cupcake, so the creamy cream cheese frosting creates a perfect combination to melt in your mouth! I will be making these all the time for my family!

Not gonna lie, I was nervous the first time I tried these. I had never had a black bean cupcake and I couldn't get my mind around the idea. However, the taste, texture, and smell floored me! They are so moist and chocolaty, you would never know that they are a healthy alternative to traditional cupcakes! You wont be disappointed :)

Our family loves this recipe! Seriously who does not like cupcakes or chocolate ? ! Is that even a possibility ? Chef Todd hit the ball out of the park with these moist and delicious cupcakes. They are so easy to make my son even made a batch himself. They are so moist they stay fresh for days if they last that long. And if you dare to share these delicious treats don't bother to say they are made with black beans till your guest is all finished and asking for the recipe. The face you will get is priceless.

I served this at a party and after they were eaten told them about the black beans. One friend literally yelled, "I hate black beans!" We all had a good laugh as she had no trouble snarfing that cupcake down!
