Chicken Street Tacos

What can be quicker and easier than a simple basic street taco? What if your chicken was already cooked? What if your onions and tomatoes were already chopped? Oh wait! They ARE!

  • 6 small corn tortillas
  • 2 c. THRIVE Seasoned Chicken Slices - Freeze Dried THRIVE Seasoned Chicken Slices - Freeze Dried rehydrated in chicken bouillon and lime juice (or limeade powder) if desired
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 pn. salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze DriedTHRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
  • 1 c. THRIVE Tomato Dices - Freeze DriedTHRIVE Tomato Dices - Freeze Dried or 2 fresh tomatoes seeded & chopped
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/3 c. Feta Cheese crumbled
  • 1 fresh lime juice OR 1 T THRIVE Limeade powder (seasonal so buy lots when you can)

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add rehydrated chicken, onion and seasoning. Heat completely through.
  2. To assemble: spoon 1/3 cup chicken mixture onto each tortilla, add diced tomatoes and feta cheese. Sprinkle cilantro on top.
  3. Sprinkle limeade powder over taco or squeeze lime juice if using fresh lime.
  4. Enjoy.
  5. Counting on 2 tacos per person.
