  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 c. White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
  • 2 tbsp. Cane Sugar
  • 4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Iodized Salt
  • 1 c. milk

  1. Turn oven to 400 degrees. Place butter in a 9"x13" pan and place in oven until butter is melted. Then remove and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and stir well.
  3. Add milk, and stir well to combine.
  4. Turn dough onto a floured board and pat or roll out into a 5"x12" rectangle. Cut into 12 1-inch wide strips.
  5. Twist each strip gently and lay into buttered dish, using a pastry brush to get the melted butter on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
