Whether you throw-and-go straight into the skillet or jar this baby up for a later feast, you'll love the flavors in this dish. Serve it in those new flour tortilla boats for fun and easy eating! You can switch out the chicken and use our amazing ground beef too!

  1. If prepping as a jar meal, layer the ingredients into a clean, dry quart jar in the order listed (except the water), tamping down when necessary to accommodate each layer. Place lid on and store to use within a month or so. For longer storage, seal with a vacuum sealer.
  2. When ready to use, pour dry ingredients into a large, hot skillet and stir for 30 seconds or so. Then pour in the water, stir well, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Serve with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sour cream, queso fresco (or your favorite cheese), avocadoes, Cholula, etc.
