Maple Reduction

  • 1 c. Maple Syrup
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

Butternut Squash Soup

  1. Combine all ingredients, except the bechamel and heavy cream, in a pot and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the soup in small batches to a blender and blend until smooth. Place back into a clean pot.
  3. Add the cream and bechamel to the soup and bring to a simmer for 2 minutes. Allow to rest.

Maple Glazed Pulled Pork

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saute pan and simmer until the water has evaporated. Let it brown slightly.

Maple Reduction

  1. Add 1 cup of maple syrup and a cinnamon stick to a small sauce pan and let it reduce until thick. Remove the cinnamon stick and pour the mixture into a squeeze bottle.
  2. Portion the soup into bowls and top with about 1/4 cup of pork and a small amount of maple reduction.
