A delicious breakfast gravy great for biscuits, omelets, or just about any breakfast food!

  1. In a small bowl, add ½ cup water to sausage and onions and allow to soak for 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Simmer mixture in a small saucepan (without draining) with butter and seasoning blend until almost dry.
  3. Add remaining water and sauce mix and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Fold in chives before serving.

Recipe featured in September 2013 Thrive It Up broadcast. Add a pinch of black pepper and red cayenne pepper for a spicier sauce.
