Mashed Potatoes

  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 4 tbsp. THRIVE Instant MilkTHRIVE Instant Milk + 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. Iodized Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. THRIVE PeppercornTHRIVE Peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 c. Potato Beads

  1. Heat all ingredients for mashed potatoes except potato beads in a large saucepan. Mix in potato beads and cook until smooth.
  2. Bring all ingredients for filling except cornstarch slurry and cheese to a boil in a medium-size saucepan. Take down to a simmer and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix in slurry and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour into a 9x9 casserole dish and spread mashed potatoes on top.
  5. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 350⁰F or until bubbly.
