Serve this over your vegetables or spice it up with some THRIVE green chili peppers and serve it over nachos.

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)

  1. Combine milk and cream and bring to a simmer.
  2. Sprinkle in cheese powder and shredded cheese while stirring vigorously to incorporate.
  3. Add roux to simmering sauce and stir to incorporate. Allow to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper; taste and adjust as needed.

Yield: 2 cups
