Directions:

  1. In a 3 qt pot, boil 2 qts. water with 1 tsp. salt. Add pasta and cook until al dente (about 6 minutes). Rinse and drain, coat noodles lightly with olive oil, and set aside.
  2. In a 3 qt saucepan, sweat garlic with olive oil until lightly browned. Add ground beef and lightly toast, then deglaze pan with wine and simmer until liquid is almost gone.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except the tomato sauce, cheese, and vinegar. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add in the rest of the ingredients except the tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Add tomato sauce and stir well to incorporate. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Add pasta, parmesan cheese, and balsamic vinegar and stir to mix.
