Beef Stroganoff can be a dress-up meal or a dress-down meal. It is so flexible with just a few minor changes. And now, how easy is this? Just add water and cook. Great to use as a meal-in-a-jar. Most of the time allotted is taken up at the end when you let it sit to thicken. Not much 'prepping' - just set the table.

  1. Throw 'n Go: Add all ingredients to Hot water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir a few times to prevent sticking. When liquid comes to a boil, turn heat to low, cover, and simmer 12 minutes. Stir once in a while to prevent sticking.
  3. When pasta is tender, turn heat off. Stir and let sit for up to 10-15 minutes to thicken.
  4. Option 1: for variety - substitute egg noodles for the pasta. Use a little less water, and adjust cooking time slightly as egg noodles don't take as long to cook.
  5. Option 2 : for the Vegetable Lover, add 1/2 cup FD Red or Green Peppers in the last minute of cooking. Don't really cook them, you just want to refresh and heat through. Or add FD peas, corn, .... whatever appeals to you.
  6. Option 3 for a gorgeous Florentine Stroganoff, stir in 1/2 cup FD Spinach after you turn off the heat.
  7. Option 4: substitute FD Ground Beef or FD Beef Dices for the meat
  8. When you pour into serving dish, sprinkle with parsley and freshly ground pepper, or better yet, THRIVE Chef’s Choice All Purpose Seasoning Blend
