Cresent Roll Wrapped Chicken and Veggies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine chicken and vegetables with boiling water and let sit about 3 minutes.
  3. ** The boiling water heats the filling and makes it easier to blend in the cream cheese.
  4. Add the cream cheese, in dollops, to the mixture. Combine until well blended.
  5. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Unroll cresent sheet carefully, on to the parchment paper. Gently stretch to make even.
  7. Cut into each long edge, no more than 1/3 of the way, strips about 1 inch apart. *see picture
  8. Mound the filling down the center (uncut section) of the cresent sheet.
  9. Pull up and over, alternating, the cut strips to cover the filling.
  10. If desired, brush with egg wash to give a nice golden gloss to your finished dish.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
