Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
  • 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Double Acting Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Iodized Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 c. Cane Sugar
  • 12 tbsp. Butter, unsalted
  • 1 Raw, Whole Egg
  • 1/4 c. Orange Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Powder - Spice Can
  • 2 c. THRIVE Granny Smith Apple Slices - Freeze Dried

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray an 8X11 baking pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Reconstitute the granny smith apples and set aside. Mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter together. Add in the egg, orange juice, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the dry ingredients, then fold in the apples. Spread the mix into the baking sheet evenly.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy!
