Ingredients
- 4 c Elbow Macaroni
- 1 1/8 c Cheese Blend
- 7/8 c THRIVE Butter Powder
- 1 c THRIVE Chopped Chicken - Freeze Dried
- 1 c THRIVE Broccoli - Freeze Dried
- 1 1/2 THRIVE Instant Milk
- 1/2 tbsp Iodized Salt
- 1 c Pasta Water, from cooked macaroni
- 3 c Water
Directions
- Boil 2 quarts (8 cups) of water and add macaroni noodles.
- Boil macaroni for 8-12 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- While the macaroni is cooking, put your other ingredients in a bowl and stir them together, this will evenly distribute the ingredients and make it easier to incorporate once you add the water.
- Before draining the pasta, use a ladle to measure out 1 c. of pasta water and set to the side.
- Drain pasta and add the pasta water to the cheese, chicken, broccoli mixture and stir. Then add the remaining 3 c. of water to the mixture and mix.
- Return the drained pasta to low-medium heat and stir in the cheese mixture. Cover the mac and cheese and simmer, will thicken in 5-7 minutes.
