Chicken Divan

Mom and Grandma used to make this: yummy chicken and veggies in a creamy Parmesan sauce. Warning: this recipe feeds a large family; if you are looking to feed a smaller crew, you may choose to half the recipe.

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. THRIVE Seasoned Chicken Slices - Freeze Dried reconstituted
- 4 c. THRIVE Broccoli - Freeze Dried reconstituted
- 3 1/2 c. THRIVE Cauliflower- Freeze Dried reconstituted
- 4 tbsp. Canola Oil
- 4 tsp. THRIVE Butter Powder
- 4 tbsp. White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
- 1 tsp. Iodized Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
- 2 c. Water
- 2 tsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 2 tsp. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Parmesan Cheese - Freeze Dried
- 1 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
Directions
- Layer chicken, cauliflower and broccoli in a 13" x 9" baking dish.
- Combine canola oil and butter powder in a medium saucepan.
- Add flour, salt and pepper.
- Stir and cook for 1 minute.
- Add water, chicken bouillon and lemon juice. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; add cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Pour over chicken and vegetables.
- Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Serve over brown rice.
