Creamy Chicken and Brown Rice- Bechamel

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 3 1/3 c. water
- 3/4 c. THRIVE Broccoli - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Celery - Freeze Dried
- 1 1/2 c. THRIVE Seasoned Chicken Slices - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - Freeze Dried
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
- 1/2 tbsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. Peppercorn
- 1 tsp. Cholula hot sauce
- 2 c. THRIVE Instant Brown Rice
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Béchamel (Creamy White Sauce)
- 2 tbsp. butter
Directions
- In a 2 qt. saucepan, sweat garlic and butter on medium heat. Once garlic begins to brown, add mushrooms and onions and lightly toast. Add wine and simmer until syrupy.
- Add water and all remaining ingredients except rice and béchamel. Bring to a simmer for 1 minute.
- Add rice and béchamel, stir well, and simmer for 6 minutes or until thick.
- Allow to stand 2–3 minutes and serve. Finish with 2 tbsp. additional butter if desired.
