Creamy Chicken and Corn Chowder

A friend asked if I could create a Creamy Chicken and Corn Chowder recipe. All of the ingredients are able to fit into a wide mouth quart jar. For a quick meal is to empty the contents of the jar into a pot of water, stir and heat until done. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 c THRIVE Potato Chunks
- 2 tsp THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 1 c THRIVE Sweet Corn - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
- 2 tbsp THRIVE Celery - Freeze Dried
- 2 tbsp THRIVE Carrot Dices
- 3/4 c THRIVE Chopped Chicken - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
- 2 tbsp THRIVE Sour Cream Powder
- 2 tbsp THRIVE Velouté (Rich Chicken Gravy)
- 1 tsp Iodized Salt
- 5 c Water
- 1 1/2 c 2% Milk
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 pn Ground Nutmeg
- 1 clv Garlic
- 1/4 c Butter, salted
Directions
- Melt butter in a large sauce pan. Add garlic and saute until fragrant.
- Add the rest of the dry ingredients to the saucepan then add 5 cups water. Mix well.
- Bring to a boil then turn heat down and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add 1 1/2 cups milk to the soup and stir well. Continue simmering for another 5 minutes or until desired consistency. You can add more or less milk to reach the desired consistency.
- Optional: Add 3 strips of crumbled bacon to the soup as a garnish.
- Note: All ingredients will fit into a wide mouth quart jar.
