Creamy Tomato Chicken (Low Carb) (MIJ)

Enjoy some Thrive Life chicken in garlicy cream sauce with tomatoes and basil. Top over a bed of spinach or kale for a delicious low carb meal. Put it over pasta or rice for a heavier meal. Easy to make into a Meal in a Jar (MIJ).

Ingredients
- 2 C Thrive Seasoned Chicken Slices - Freeze Dried
- 1/3 C Thrive Tomato Dices - Freeze Dried
- 2 tsp Thrive Garlic - Freeze Dried
- 2 tsp Thrive Chicken Bouillon
- 2 Tbsp Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
- 2 Tbsp Thrive Gluten Free Flour
- 1 Tbsp Thrive Butter Powder
- 1 Tbsp Freeze dried Basil
- 4 C Water
- 2 C Thrive Chopped Spinach - Freeze Dried
- 2 C Water
Directions
- CHICKEN SAUCE
- 1. Add the first 7 ingredients into a sauce pan.
- 2. Add Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste.
- 3. Add water to allow the food to be refreshed.
- 4. Simmer on stove for about 5 minutes or until the chicken is tender and the right sauce consistency is reached.
- 5. Substitutions: Replace Seasoned Chicken Slices with Thrive Life's Grilled Chicken or Chopped Chicken
- Substitutions: Replace Chicken Bouillon with Sour Cream powder.
- SPINACH
- 1. Add Spinach to a sauce pan.
- 2. Add 1 cup of water or enough for spinach to refresh well.
- 3. Stir and simmer on stove for about 2 minutes until refreshed and warm.
- 4. Substitutions: Replace Freeze Dried Spinach with Freeze Dried Kale
- DISHING UP
- 1. Plate a bed of spinach and top with the chicken sauce. Enjoy!
- 2. Substitutions: Plate a bed of pasta or rice and top with chicken sauce.
