No cook, fresh fruit jam. I've never liked how much sugar is added to the typical fruit jams you get from the store. I think its a shame to have to cook fruit and lose some of the nutrition. by Francesca Hutchinson

Ingredients
- 2 c. THRIVE Strawberry Slices - Freeze Dried OR any fruit or fruit combination you would like.
- 1 1/4 c. Water
- 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
Directions
- Prepping your Fruit:
- How smooth or chunky you want your jam is completely up to you. I pulverized mine in a blender, which took about 2 seconds. You could crush your fruit in a ziplock or even just break up your fruit into smaller pieces using your hands.
- *
- Add water and let your fruit rehydrate.
- Optional:
- I didn't need to use any sweetener with my batch. You may choose to add a bit of sugar, honey, agave, or maple syrup to add some sweetness as some fruits are more tart than others.
- *
- A splash of lemon juice would be nice to brighten the flavor, but not necessary. If you happened to have our lemonade powder that would work as well.
- Making the Jam:
- Stir in the Chia Seeds.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours to allow chia seeds to develop their own healthy gelatin.
