Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Tomato Dices - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 c. Burgandy Red Wine
  • 2 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1/3 c. THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
  • 1 tbsp. Tomato Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

  1. In a small sauce pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter and sweat the garlic for about 1 minute.
  2. Add in the tomatoes and deglaze with the burgandy. Reduce until syrupy.
  3. Add in the 2 1/2 cups of water and Chef's Choice Seasoning, then bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer and add in while whisking the espagnole sauce mix and tomato powder.
  5. Simmer until thickened and finish with the Italian Seasoning, worcestershire sauce and 1 more tablespoon of butter. Remove from heat and serve!
