Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 c. Organic Spelt (uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. White Wine (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
  • 7 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Chopped Onions FD
  • 1/4 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles FD
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Sweet Corn FD
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Tomato Powder
  • 1 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces FD
  • 1/4 c THRIVE Green Chili Peppers FD
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Celery FD
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Tomato Dices - Freeze Dried
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Cholula hot sauce
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp. Iodized Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Peppercorn
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Chopped Spinach - Freeze Dried
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Basil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Parsley

Directions

  1. Sauté butter and garlic until caramelized. Add spelt and toast.
  2. Deglaze with white wine until mixture is reduced by half.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except spinach, basil, and parsley.
  4. Cook covered for 45 minutes on medium simmer.
  5. Add spinach and herbs and simmer for 2 more minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve.
