Parmesan Pilaf with Sausage

Ingredients
- 2 clv. Garlic, Raw
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 4 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
- 2 c. White Rice Bucket
- 3 c. Water
- 3 tsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 1/3 c THRIVE Carrot Dices
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Green Bell Peppers - Freeze Dried
- 2/3 c. THRIVE Shredded Parmesan Cheese - Freeze Dried
- 1 pkg. Smoked Sausage, sliced
Directions
- Saute garlic and onion in olive oil in a large saucepan.
- Add rice, carrots, bouillon, and water.
- Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, saute the sausage in a small frying pan until slightly browned.
- Add the peppers, sausage, and parmesan cheese.
- Stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and cover for 3-4 minutes to melt the cheese. Stir, serve, and enjoy!
