Peach Macaroons

A twist on our standard macaroons recipe. Try this at parties!

Ingredients
- 2 c Macaroon Cookie Mix
- 2 tbsp THRIVE Peach Slices - Freeze Dried Crushed
- 1/2 c hot water
- For the yogurt garnish
- 1 tsp Simply Peach add more if it not the right amount of peachy
- 1 c Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt
Directions
- For the macaroons
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Begin to heat up the 1/2 cup of water in a small saucepan.
- Meanwhile, measure out the 2 cups of macaroon mix and put into a small bowl.
- Set the bowl aside and take some of the TL FD Peach Slices and put them in a small plastic sandwich bag. Crush them up until you can measure out 2 tbsps.
- Add the crushed peach slices to the macaroon mix. Measure out the tbsp. of the TL Simply Peach Drink Mix and add into dry mixture.
- Your water should be ready by now. Add 1/2 cup hot water to the peach macaroon mix. Mix all together and let sot for 5 minutes to let everything rehydrate.
- After the 5 minutes, take a tablespoon and drop dallops of mix ( one cookie width apart from each other) onto an UNGREASED baking sheet.
- Once you are finished, you will be baking the cookies for 15 - 20 minutes. Mine were nice and brown at about 15 ( check at 15 minutes).
- If your macaroons are done baking, let them sot for 5 minutes and transfer them onto another baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- For the yogurt garnish:
- Place the yogurt in a small cereal bowl and stir in the tsp. of TL Simply Peach Drink Mix. Taste! Make sure it tastes enough like peach for you :)
- Once your yogurt topping is made, take the mixing spoon and drizzle the yogurt ( or dip the bottom half of cookies ) over the macaroons. Enjoy!
