Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. THRIVE Pears - Freeze Dried
  • 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. puff pastry
  • Icing
  • 2 c. Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. THRIVE Instant Milk + 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Directions

  1. Combine all pastry ingredients except puff pastry in a pan and saute until pears are caramelized (about 10 minutes).
  2. Remove from heat and let cool in fridge.
  3. While filling is cooling, make icing by combining all ingredients in a bowl and whisking together.
  4. Thaw puff pastry and unfold both sheets of dough.
  5. Cut each sheet into 9 squares for 18 total pastries.
  6. Scoop heaping teaspoons of filling into the center of each piece of dough.
  7. Bring opposite corners of squares to the center and pinch together.
  8. Place danishes on a sheet pan with parchment. Brush egg wash over tops of danishes.
  9. Bake at 400F for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Cool danishes for about 10 minutes and drizzleicing on top.
