Pear Danishes

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. THRIVE Pears - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. puff pastry
- Icing
- 2 c. Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Instant Milk + 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions
- Combine all pastry ingredients except puff pastry in a pan and saute until pears are caramelized (about 10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and let cool in fridge.
- While filling is cooling, make icing by combining all ingredients in a bowl and whisking together.
- Thaw puff pastry and unfold both sheets of dough.
- Cut each sheet into 9 squares for 18 total pastries.
- Scoop heaping teaspoons of filling into the center of each piece of dough.
- Bring opposite corners of squares to the center and pinch together.
- Place danishes on a sheet pan with parchment. Brush egg wash over tops of danishes.
- Bake at 400F for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool danishes for about 10 minutes and drizzleicing on top.
