Pulled Pork Chef Pack - Pulled Pork Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Pulled Pork - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Green Chili Peppers - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Green Beans - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Onion Slices - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Red Bell Peppers - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 c Thrive Green Peas
- 1/2 c THRIVE Sweet Corn
- 1/3 c. THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
- 3 c. Water
- Mashed Potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. THRIVE Mashed Potatoes
- 1 3/4 c. Water
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- Topping
- 1 c. THRIVE Shredded Cheddar Cheese - Freeze Dried
Directions
- For the sauce filling, in a small sauce pot saute garlic in butter until caramelized. Add in remaining filling ingredients, except espagnole, and bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add in espagnole. Mix until combined. Simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes. Take off heat and set aside.
- For mashed potatoes bring water butter and chefs choice up to a simmer in a small sauce pot.
- Whisk in mashed potatoes until smooth and turn off heat. To assemble pour filling into an 8x8 pan. Spread mashed potatoes over the filling and then sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in a 350 oven for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and filling is bubbly.
- Yield: 1- 8x8 pan
