Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Pulled Pork - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1 tbsp. THRIVE Green Chili Peppers - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Green Beans - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Onion Slices - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Red Bell Peppers - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 c Thrive Green Peas
  • 1/2 c THRIVE Sweet Corn
  • 1/3 c. THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
  • 3 c. Water
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. THRIVE Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 3/4 c. Water
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • Topping
  • 1 c. THRIVE Shredded Cheddar Cheese - Freeze Dried

Directions

  1. For the sauce filling, in a small sauce pot saute garlic in butter until caramelized. Add in remaining filling ingredients, except espagnole, and bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add in espagnole. Mix until combined. Simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes. Take off heat and set aside.
  3. For mashed potatoes bring water butter and chefs choice up to a simmer in a small sauce pot.
  4. Whisk in mashed potatoes until smooth and turn off heat. To assemble pour filling into an 8x8 pan. Spread mashed potatoes over the filling and then sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake in a 350 oven for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and filling is bubbly.
  6. Yield: 1- 8x8 pan
