Ingredients
- 4 C THRIVE Mashed Potatoes
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Garlic - minced
- 1/2 C Red wine (optional)
- 1 1/4 C THRIVE Ground Beef (Hamburger)
- 3/4 C THRIVE Sweet Corn
- 1/4 C THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 1/4 C THRIVE Celery
- 1/2 C THRIVE Green Peas
- 1/4 C THRIVE Carrot Dices
- 1 1/2 Tbsp THRIVE Tomato Powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Grave)
- 1 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 3/4 C THRIVE Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 6 C Water
Directions
- In a pot, measure out 4 cups of water and 2 tbsp. of butter and bring to boil.
- Take off heat and stir in 4 cups Thrive Mashed Potatoes. Set aside.
- Hydrate shredded cheddar cheese in small bowl.
- In a skillet, sauté the remaining butter and garlic for about 1 minute. Add red wine, and stir and reduce for about 1-2 minutes.
- Throw in ground beef and veggies, stir. Add 1 and ½ cups water, stir. Add seasonings, Espagnole, and tomato powder.
- Add ½ cup water and stir. Add more water if it is too thick for your liking.
- In a casserole dish, place mixture evenly. Cover with a layer of mashed potatoes.
- Add shredded cheese on top. The Cheese can also go between the mixture and the mashed potato layer.
- OPTIONAL step: Place in oven under broiler for 4 minutes.
