Split pea with Ham

Ingredients
- 2 lb. Split Peas
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Carrot Dices
- 1 c. THRIVE Potato Dices - Freeze Dried
- 2 c. Ham Dices - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 6 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
- 3 q Water
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
- Rinse and drain peas. In a large pot, place peas and water. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Once boil is reached cover and lower to simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- After 2 hours add remaining ingredients bring back to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste prior to serving. If soup is too thick add water 1/2 cup at a time to thin.
