Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Split Peas
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Carrot Dices
  • 1 c. THRIVE Potato Dices - Freeze Dried
  • 2 c. Ham Dices - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 6 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
  • 3 q Water
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Directions

  1. Rinse and drain peas. In a large pot, place peas and water. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Once boil is reached cover and lower to simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. After 2 hours add remaining ingredients bring back to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste prior to serving. If soup is too thick add water 1/2 cup at a time to thin.
