The peel does not bother us at all. Prefer these over the Granny Smith--those are a bit too tart for my liking, but probably great for baking.

So Yummy 0 people found this helpfulSome in my family don't like these apples as much because they have the peel on them unlike the Granny apples, but if you are an apple lover you will love these. These are like eating a ripe yummy apple. The Granny Apples are good for baking.
