I have only tried them Freeze Dried so far, and the flavor is great. I plan on using them for an apple crisp too. They are better in flavor and texture than the Fuji

My husband is a fan of Granny Smith apples, so I thought I'd buy a pantry can to try. He loves them, and so do I. We both like the sweet-tart flavor. They rehydrate very well, especially overnight. I plan to keep a few #10 cans on hand in our long-term storage.
