My FAVORITE Rice!!! 1 people found this helpfulWe tend to use rice a LOT in our home! Sometimes I don't want to cook because I feel like I'm always spending time making rice. However, Thrive has made me love cooking again! The INSTANT rice cooks SO fast - it's unbelievable! Definitely a lifesaver! I'm buying a case next time I get a chance!

LOVE IT! 1 people found this helpfulI love brown rice. I was so excited to see instant brown rice. I use it in all my soups and casseroles. I also use it in my "cup-a-soup" that I make to take to work when I'm in a pinch for something for lunch. In an air tight container I put all of the freeze dried veggies and my choice of freeze dried meat and instant brown rice and spices to taste. Place in an microwave safe cup or bowl. Add HOT water or add water and microwave till HOT. Cover and let set till done to desired tenderness. LOVE IT!!

A new staple in our home!! 1 people found this helpfulI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this brown rice! It has a lower glycemic index than white rice, so it's great for my diet. I made a delicious rice pilaf using:
2 c thrive brown rice,1 tspn olive oil, 4 c chicken or beef broth, made from thrive bouillon, 3⁄4 c thrive freeze dried celery, 3⁄4 c thrive carrot dices and
3⁄4 c thrive freeze dried chopped onions. I just put everything in a pot and cooked on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until carrots were tender and all the moisture was absorbed. Even my hubby, who dislikes brown rice, loved this dish!!
