Just like fresh! 0 people found this helpfulThe first batch I made, I didn't soak the green beans since they were going to be cooking a while in a lot of liquid. They were OK but not impressive. The next time, I did soak them for a while and then drained off the water and added fresh water plus some country ham pieces for seasoning. Here in the South, we love to cook our green beans a long time with meat seasoning. They were to die for! Tasted like the ones my Mama used to put up from the garden. Thrive foods are just great!

Awesome 0 people found this helpfulGot my first shipment and first thing I had to try the green beans. We were cooking supper and getting ready to dump a can of beans in the pot. So we open the number ten can and tried them out. A little boiling water, toss in the beans, and then season to taste. They were really good. They were as good as fresh out of the garden.
