Blackberry pizzazz 0 people found this helpfulJust starting out with my first order and I picked the berry fruit. The taste test was wonderful in my opinion to all of them. I used the blackberries to top off my homemade blackberry ice cream (made before Thrive Life) and the taste was out of this world..the freeze dried blackberries put my ice cream over the top..nice, cold, creamy ice cream with a touch of crunchy berries..made me think of getting a ice cream cone and the last few bites of getting the crunchy cone mixed with the ice cream.
AND...I just made a batch of zucchini bread..(have not bought the freeze dried zucchini yet) and added a cup of blackberries to the mix..smells wonderful. -
wonderful 0 people found this helpfuli love them! i see complaints about being sour, but they are not bad at all. all Blackberries are tart. These are wonderful! i could have eaten the entire pantry can but restrained.

Blackberries are sour 1 people found this helpfulSorry to write a bad review, but the we had blackberry, blueberry and raspberry bushes. These FD blackberries are so sour it was a let-down for the whole family. Hoping the other FD berries will turn out sweeter.

Sour 1 people found this helpfulI mostly love the freeze dried products but this one was a disappointment. The berries are still red--now I don't know if they turn red when you freeze dry them--but they were sour even after reconstituting them. We owned blackberry patches and they are really sweet when you wait until they turn black.

Good job Shelf Reliance 0 people found this helpfulThese and the raspberries are my favorite...yummy!!!!. They have a bit of a tart taste to them but my whole family and some friends didn't find it to be overbearing. Although we preferred then reconstituted and were not bad straight out of the can either. A definite reorder in the future
