Great 0 people found this helpfulI have to disagree with Eli. At full price the sausage bits are $49.99 per 10# can which has the equivalent of 9.8 lbs of sausage in it. That is 49/5 - 1/2 cup servings per lb. $49.99/9.8 lbs equals $5.10 or $4.08 at today's sale price of $39.99. My family cannot tell the difference when I mix it 50/50 with the Sausage TVP which comes to a total of $1.79 per lb at today's price. For a freeze dried product that tastes great, you can't beat it! Goes great in scrambled eggs, fried rice, and spaghetti sauce!!! Not having to refrigerate it made it easy for me to take it to a reunion where I made Thai fried rice for 80 people with just a microwave, some freeze dried onions & broccoli, Thai basil sauce from a jar and a rice cooker!! Nobody asked me if there was something different with the meat!! When I told them that it was half TVP and half Sausage, they couldn't believe it. Brought all of the freezed dried food on the plane with me in plastic bags. GREAT STUFF!!!

DE-licious! 0 people found this helpfulI can't get enough of these! They make it so easy to add protein to breakfast or even snacks. My 1 year old loves them too!

Quite expensive for sausage 0 people found this helpfulAssuming you get about 12 cups out of a #10 can, you are essentially spending a little more than $8.50 per pound of sausage. I can see the convenience for camping, or making pre-made dry food packs, but for everyday normal use, this is a waste of money. You can go the grocery store and buy a pound for much less than $8.50.

Absolutely love this sausage 0 people found this helpfulI just tried the sausage crumbles on a home made pizza and it was the best pizza I've ever made. There was no way to know that this was freeze dried sausage in fact I think it was better than fresh. If all the meat products are this good we will be eating well during a shortage. Thanks for keeping the quality high.
