Freezer burn 3 people found this helpfulThe chicken has a good flavor, unfortunately there is a slight freezer burn taste to the chicken. The more we ate, the more we noticed the freezer burn taste, until we finally threw it out.

Pretty Good 1 people found this helpfulI like these chicken slices. They are tender when simmered in a broth or water but I like to add a small amount of butter for extra flavor. They are good tossed with noodles and they make excellent chicken salad when mixed with green onions and mayo.

A favorite 1 people found this helpfulI find this makes an excellent chicken salad with a bit of mayo or salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip), celery and a bit of pickle relish. Just bought a family size can for food storage and it's in my Q.

Delicious 1 people found this helpfulThe chicken is extremely tender, my kids had no idea it was freeze dried, in fact my oldest daughter says it's her favorite chicken. I've used it in quesadillas, enchiladas, mixed with penne pasta, and by itself with mashed potatoes and gravy. Can't tell you how much I don't miss thawing, cutting off disgusting fat, and getting salmonella on my cutting board. :)
