Absolutely pleased 1 people found this helpfulSmelled and tasted like asparagus even dried. Was lovely sauteed lightly in coconut oil with lemon as well as cooked in rice. Will be buying in the big can from now on . Asparagus is super expensive most of the year here and usually goes woody before I can eat all of it. Super happy with my first order.

Disappointing but Salvageable 0 people found this helpfulWhile the flavor is great, the pieces rehydrated into a mushy consistency that no one wanted to eat. We just couldn't handle the texture or the mouth feel. However, I ground the rest of the can down to powder and am adding it to smoothies, scrambled eggs, and soups, so at least it isn't going to waste. We get the flavor without the yuck factor.

No to Asparagus 0 people found this helpfulMost of the pieces were stems; there were very few tips in the can. The stems were tough and chewy. I couldn't tell whether they tasted like asparagus because I put them in a pasta dish and could hardly taste them at all. The pantry can had very little product in it. In fact, it was enough for only one meal, but the cost was around $13. I was very disappointed.

The texture is different but.. 0 people found this helpfulI found that it is one of the easiest vegetables so far to prepare as it quickly absorbs the water and in a few minutes I have it on the stove with a bit of olive oil. Then butter and the some parmensan cheese and with some spices and its set to go over some pasta. Its perfect for me. (my husband refuses to eat stems but with this he eats stems no problem and I have no waste from leaving it in the frig to long (fresh) )

Never again 0 people found this helpfulThis has the taste of asparagus, but half of it is not edible because it is tough, even after cooking. The other parts taste good, but is spongy and not at all like fresh or frozen asparagus. What a waste of money!
