Hard to go back to peeling potatoes after these! 1 people found this helpfulI absolutely love this product. I follow the recipe on the can for mashed potatoes and they are the best mashed potatoes ever (and I usually make the Pioneer Woman mashed potatoes). You can't just add water and have them be amazing. They are just potatoes. I have never enjoyed just plain potatoes from the ground either. You do need to add butter and whatever else you like with your potatoes for them to be a favorite. But that's another reason I love them! There's no additives! A must have with these is the Chef's Choice Seasoning. They are a match made in heaven. So SO good!!

Please look closer at this product! 1 people found this helpfulEveryone has an opinion and here is mine. I for one am so grateful that Thrive has somehow produced a instant potato product that consists only of non GMO potatoes and NOTHING else. If you look at other food storage instant potatoes or store bought, you will find that they all contain chemicals and preservatives. When you make regular mashed potatoes you add some kind of liquid, water, milk, non-dairy beverage, or broth. You can also add salt, butter, cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, herbs, etc. To alter consistency, just add more liquid of your choosing. I love that I can add whatever I want to these potatoes. Thank you Thrive for offering a product that no other food storage company has!
