Great Tasting 0 people found this helpfulThis broccoli is really great tasting. I was worried that it might be bitter, but there is a bit of a sweetness to it. Great on a potato with cheese, in soup, salad, omlettes, baked goods. I'll keep this in hand. This is not form like fresh broccoli when reconstituted, do not good for cold salads.

Can't tell it from fresh in recipees!!! 0 people found this helpfulI was making Cheddar Broccoli soup from scratch when I realized ai had a small opened can that I had only been snacking from. I tossed the helf can in with the fresh diced broccoli and noticed initially there was a difference in color. I added extra broth and let it simmer. When I came back to stir I honestly could not tell at all what was what. I tasted a few pieces and Nope - It all tasted and felt the same in my mouth. I will be honest - I did NOT enjoy snacking on this. But wow it is definitely a good pantry item. I will buy again, because price-wise and convenience, I think think it is a good deal.

First experience - WINNER! 0 people found this helpfulSo I just had my first Shelf Reliance meal, and decided to try the broccoli on the side. I soaked it in warm/hot water for about 3-5 minutes and drained the excess water as instructed. The broccoli was tasty and had a fresh quality to it. There were one or two stringy or tough pieces but that's bound to happen with whole broccoli.
At first, I thought the pieces too small, but I realized that if they were larger, they'd be harder to rehydrate, and found in the end that they were perfect size for just eating plain or I can easily add them to a recipe.
Overall, I think this is going to be one of my SR staples! More reviews to come! -
Great, Great 1 people found this helpfulI purchased broccoli from another manufacturer and waited to actually try it until recently. That broccoli looked burnt and smelled horrible even though the picture looked yummy. I then bought a pouch of the Thrive broccoli and found heaven. Yes they are small and you will never find a FD product that are spears. However the taste was as good as fresh. I have ordered two #10 cans and a pantry can since my husband doesn't like broccoli. I am so excited that I can eat my favorite veggie any time I like. I highly recommend this product.

Did not like 3 people found this helpfulThe broccoli pieces are way to small. The only thing they are good for is in cream of broccoli soup. Does not go well with other soups or casseroles.
