In-Home Tastings During the Spring Sale

This is one of the best times to have an in-home tasting! Follow the steps outlined here to help make your tasting a success!

1

Decide who will have the tasting and pick a time & date
If you already have someone interested in doing a tasting, that's great! If not, ask around and make sure to mention that everyone will get Spring Sale pricing during the tasting. And don't forget, you can have your own tasting, too! Once you've figured out who will be having the tasting, pick a date and time that corresponds with the sale. If you're really feeling adventurous, you can plan a tasting for every night of the sale! It's all up to you!

2

Coach Your Host
If someone else is going to be hosting the tasting, there is so much the two of you can do to make a splash! Click here to watch a host coaching training video by Kathy and Melanie Radford.

4

Practice Your Presentation
It's always a good idea to practice your presentation a few times for a refresher. Practice your presentation using the new To Go's, and work in a section to talk about the Spring Sale. Kelly and Jeneen Espe did an awesome Facebook live training where they showed everyone how to have a 10 minute tasting. You can watch that video here. Debbie and Monty Abbott have also crafted a fantastic tasting presentation! You can watch their Facebook live training here. Also, don't forget about the awesome materials available to help you have a fantastic tasting. Click the links below to view your tasting materials.

Send out the invitations
Before you send out the invitations, give each person on your guest list a call. Tell them about the tasting and give them the time and date. This is not the invitation, but a save the date. One week before the sale, send out the formal invitations! This can either be through a Facebook event, a printed invitation, or even just a text message! This second reminder is crucial because life gets busy! People may have already forgotten about that phone call you made earlier. Send this formal invitation as a reminder for your tasting, and don't forget to mention that Thrive Life can help them have a healthier, easier life!

6

Get a head-count
One or two days before the tasting, call each guest and tell them that you're working to get a head-count so you know how much food to make. Ask them if they have any diet or allergy restrictions, or if there are any specific products they'd like to try! If someone is wishy-washy about coming, you can offer an extra incentive (like a free Snackies Singles!), and don't forget to mention the Spring Sale pricing that they'll recieve!

7

Arrive to the tasting early
Arrive to the tasting early so you can make sure you're all set up. This is also a great time to talk with the host about the Consulting opportunity and answer any questions!

8

Have the tasting
It's time for the tasting! Remember, cooking with Thrive is fun, so you should be having fun! Show off the product and help the guests see how they could use Thrive in their home. Teach them some tips and tricks, and remember to keep it short and sweet!

9

Close the Sale
Wrap up the tasting and collect orders. If you've had troubles closing the sale in the past, check out this Facebook live training by Holly Hardy!

10

Nurture your new customers
